Kabete is the closest town to our studio — 10 km up Waiyaki Way or Lower Kabete Road, 20–30 minutes — so saxophone lessons here mean a quick weekly hop in to Concerto, with online support midweek. We start beginners on the alto, build a warm tone and relaxed embouchure, and teach the ABRSM classical syllabus next to jazz and improvisation. We'll help you choose a reliable horn and look after your reeds. Being this close makes it easy for Kabete students to join the monthly wind ensemble at the studio.
We've been teaching out of Kikuyu since 2016 — Concerto's roots are right here in this corner of Kiambu.
