ABRSM mock exams.
Music schools and private teachers preparing students for ABRSM grades benefit from a realistic mock-exam round 2–4 weeks before the real thing. Concerto provides an independent adjudicator who runs each student through the full ABRSM structure (pieces, scales, sight-reading, aural) under exam conditions and delivers a real rubric-style report.

School-internal music competitions — house systems, year-group competitions, parents' day performances — benefit from a neutral outside adjudicator. Concerto sends a trained judge who knows the room (we work with schools every day), scores fairly, and delivers feedback that helps students grow rather than just rank.

Choir-only competitions need adjudicators with a trained choral ear — someone who hears blend, intonation across sections, choral diction, and the small things that separate a "nice" choir from a finished one. 01What kinds of events do you adjudicate?+
Music festivals (KMF zonal/county/parish), ABRSM mock exam rounds, school music days (house systems, year-group competitions, parents' day), and choir-specific competitions. Browse the services below.
02Are your adjudicators officially KMF-registered?+
Some are; not all. Where formal registration applies, we confirm at booking. Where we use KMF-style rubrics without formal registration, we say so up-front — the feedback quality is the same; the official badge isn't.
03How do we book?+
Use the "Request a quote" button on the specific service you need. Five-minute form; written quote within one working day.
04How are adjudicators paid?+
Quoted per event. Variables: event duration, entry count, travel distance, depth of written feedback. Payment by bank transfer, M-Pesa Paybill (247247) or cheque. We don't take entrance fees from participants — the organiser engages us, the organiser pays us.
05Where do you travel?+
100 km radius of Nairobi and Kikuyu. Further venues are quoted with travel + accommodation transparently. We don't hide the cost.
06Can you provide multiple adjudicators for a large event?+
Yes — we can supply 2–3 adjudicators from our pool for events spanning multiple category clusters. Useful for zonal KMF festivals.
