About Karen

Why Karen students learn here.

In Karen, flute lessons come to you. A vetted Concerto trainer drives out — 30–40 minutes along Ngong Road, longer in the school-pickup crush — and teaches in your own home on a fixed weekly schedule, with online slots open in parallel for the weeks the diary won't cooperate. The flute is ideal for an at-home lesson: quiet, light, and quick to a first clear note. Your trainer brings the structure — embouchure, breath, the ABRSM grade ladder — and can advise on the right student flute to buy. Many of our Karen families come through Brookhouse, Hillcrest and Banda, where the flute is already part of school music.

We've been teaching out of Kikuyu since 2016 — Concerto's roots are right here in this corner of Kiambu.
