Why Gigiri students learn here.
Gigiri is the UN compound's neighbourhood — diplomatic-mission heavy, lots of expatriate families on multi-year postings. We send a trainer on a weekly slot, often coordinated through the school's after-care window so the parent doesn't have to chauffeur. Online is the standard term-break fallback.
We've been teaching out of Kikuyu since 2016 — Concerto's roots are right here in this corner of Kiambu.

02Where do vocals lessons happen in Gigiri?+
Your home. A vetted Concerto trainer visits Gigiri on a fixed weekly schedule. You can also commute to our Kikuyu studio or switch to online when it suits.
03How far is the Concerto studio from Gigiri?+
About 24 km from our campus at ACK Immanuel Church, Kikuyu. 35–50 min via Limuru Road.. Most families combine an in-person lesson with practice support online during the week.
04What ages and levels are welcome?+
Children from age 6, teens and adults — beginners to ABRSM Grade 8. The first lesson is a discovery session: you tell us where you're starting from and we plan from there.
05Do you prepare students for ABRSM Vocals exams?+
Yes. We're an ABRSM-aligned music school and run entries for vocals from Initial through Grade 8. Mock exam days are scheduled before each session.
06Do I need my own vocals at home?+
Helpful but not required to start. We have instruments at the studio for in-person lessons. If you decide to continue, we'll help you pick the right one to bring home.
07Can I switch from in-person to online if I can't travel one week?+
Yes. Tell your trainer 24 hours ahead and they'll set up the online room for the week. The session price doesn't change.
