The neighbourhood
Why we know Lavington.
Established, residential and green — a mix of family homes and gated townhouses. Lavington students range from young beginners on piano and violin to adults returning to an instrument, with space at home for most setups.
Our trainers reach Lavington via James Gichuru and Gitanga Road — typically 30–45 minutes from Kikuyu outside peak hours. After-school and early-evening slots dominate; mid-morning works well for adults who work from home.

Before you book
Frequently asked.
01Do I need to own an instrument?+
For piano and keyboard, yes — we will advise on a suitable home instrument. For guitar, violin and voice, smaller setups are usually fine and the trainer can guide your purchase after the first session.
02Will my trainer be the same every week?+
Yes. Once matched, that trainer is yours weekly — continuity is core to how we teach at home. If your trainer is unwell, we offer a make-up session rather than send a substitute.
03What time slots are realistic if I work full-time?+
Most working-adult students take evening slots (18:00–20:00) or Saturday mornings. Your trainer's schedule is built around the time that works for you.
04How does the first lesson work?+
Your first session is a free discovery session — a full 45 minutes to assess your level, recommend an instrument and format, and set a plan. No enrolment pressure; we follow up in writing.
