Lavington families value the in-home option for one specific reason: James Gichuru Road traffic on a school evening makes a studio commute almost impossible. We send a trainer on a fixed weekday afternoon — typically Monday or Tuesday — and run the same lesson plan we'd run at the studio. The Lavington ABRSM cohort is one of our strongest, term after term.
We've been teaching out of Kikuyu since 2016 — Concerto's roots are right here in this corner of Kiambu.

05Do you prepare students for ABRSM Drums exams?+
Yes. We're an ABRSM-aligned music school and run entries for drums from Initial through Grade 8. Mock exam days are scheduled before each session.
06Do I need my own drums at home?+
Helpful but not required to start. We have instruments at the studio for in-person lessons. If you decide to continue, we'll help you pick the right one to bring home.
07Can I switch from in-person to online if I can't travel one week?+
Yes. Tell your trainer 24 hours ahead and they'll set up the online room for the week. The session price doesn't change.
