Privacy

Your information, handled with care.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Last reviewed June 2026.

Who we are

Concerto Music Place is a music school based at ACK Immanuel Church, Kikuyu, Kiambu County, Kenya. When this policy says "we" or "us", we mean Concerto Music Place.

For any privacy question, email info@concertomusic.co.ke or call +254 797 454 401.

What we collect

Enquiries & bookings: your name, email, phone number, the instrument or service you ask about, and anything you choose to tell us in a message.

Lessons: a student name and age range, level, and progress notes kept to teach well.

Payments: when you pay, our payment partners (Safaricom M-Pesa and Paystack) process the transaction. We receive a confirmation and reference, not your full card details or M-Pesa PIN.

Website basics: standard server logs and, if you allow them, analytics about which pages are visited so we can improve the site.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a discovery session, schedule and run lessons, take payment, and keep you updated about your or your child’s learning.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing you didn’t ask for.

Who we share it with

Only the people and services needed to deliver lessons: the trainer assigned to you, our payment processors (M-Pesa, Paystack), and the tools we use to host the site and send email.

We may disclose information if the law requires it. Otherwise, your details stay with us.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept while we follow up and for a reasonable period after. Student and payment records are kept as long as you study with us and as required for tax and accounting, then deleted.

Your rights

Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

To make any of these requests, email info@concertomusic.co.ke and we’ll respond promptly.

Children

Many of our students are children. Where a student is a minor, we collect and act on instructions from a parent or guardian, and we keep a child’s information to the minimum needed to teach safely.
